How student progress is monitored
Student progress is monitored three times a year using the NWEAs, AimsWeb, and Fountas and Pinnell Benchmark Assessment System, and more frequently using curriculum based measures. Success of the program is measured by increases in the percentage of Title I students scoring proficient or better in NWEA and AimsWeb assessments and by individual student growth toward learning goals. Once the classroom teacher and the Title I teacher begin to see significant gains by monitoring the student, a decision will be made about continuing support.
How you can Help Title 1 students each receive a take-home bag with books and practice materials. Please practice the books/skills inside their bag EVERY NIGHT to ensure their success.
